The project “ABOUT DADS” was born out of love, gratitude, admiration for familiar fathers — and out of sadness, inevitability, and frustration at how rarely this theme appears in photographs.

All forms of art are filled with images of motherhood. At the same time, many fathers put in no less effort in raising their children — but most often, this remains “behind the scenes.”

During one of the photo sessions, one father said:

"If my own dad were alive, I’d never want a joint photoshoot with him."

His teenage daughter replied:

"But Dad, we’ll always be happy to have photos with you."

This project is an ode to fathers whose children want to be photographed with them — at any age.

It’s also a reminder to cherish shared moments that, in today’s world, can disappear any day.

The photoshoots took place between January 2023 and April 2024.

The project featured 33 fathers and one daughter.

The exhibition was held at the Babel Bookstore, Haifa, in May–July 2024.

The continuation of the project is planned.
